There is nothing more frustrating than buying a candle with a scent you love only to get it home, light it up, and not be able to smell it! Each of our candles have been through rigorous testing to ensure both the cold (unburned) and hot (burned) throw is sufficient to fill a normal bedroom-sized room. A good rule of thumb is a single-wick candle for small to medium-sized rooms, two-wick candles for medium to large-sized rooms and three-wick candles for large to extra-large rooms. Total burn time can often be influenced by environmental factors like room temperature and air flow. Our 12.5oz candles consistently burn between 60 and 70 hours.
Here at Latter-day Candle Company we make our candles out of high quality ingredients meant to offer maximum scent throw and burn time. We use a proprietary mix of soy wax and paraffin wax along with essential oils to create one-of-a-kind candles. We understand the debate about soy vs. paraffin wax and understand that some people may prefer a 100% soy candle. Through our own research and experience, we've determined that the blend we utilize offers a clean burning candle with unrivaled scent throw and candle life. You can be confident our candles are made using quality ingredients that will uplift and inspire!
